Led by photographer Lucy Werrett, the programme runs from 28th April – 7th June 2025 at the Martin Parr Foundation in Bristol. Participants will respond to a live brief set by the Abbey Road Photography Awards, exploring Music Culture in Bristol. PROCESS is an eight-week photography journey that brought together six brilliant emerging artists — Zach Knott, Cat Davies, Natasha Lucas-Harniman, Sinag Yuson, Caspar Day, and Mitch Williams — to explore and document British culture through their lens. Selected from over 50 applicants across the South West, they took part in hands-on workshops, guest sessions, and a trip to a professional printer, all while being mentored by course lead Lucy Werrett.
From one-to-one feedback with Martin Parr to seeing their work on billboards across Bristol, the programme gave each photographer the space to grow, experiment, and connect. The course wrapped with a group zine, a two-week city-wide poster exhibition, and a three-month installation at the Royal Photography Society — celebrating their powerful, personal, and bold photographic voices.
